How to Perform a Chest Pass Properly
Feet shoulder width apart
Hold the basketball at chest height
Step towards your target
Pass the ball to your teammate where they can easily handle it in order to catch the ball and either shoot or dribble
Your arms and hands (on the follow through) should be extended with your thumbs pointed down

Bounce the basketball three-fourths of the way to your teammate in order to ensure they get the basketball at waist height

ON DEFENSE
ON OFFENSE
- EACH GAME BEGINS WITH A TIP-OFF
- IF BALL GOES OUT OF BOUNDS IT IS THEN INBOUNDED BY OPPOSING TEAM
- EACH TEAM, AFTER AN OPPOSING TEAM MAKES A BASKET, IS ALLOWED EIGHT SECONDS TO ADVANCE THE BASKETBALL BEYOND HALF-COURT
- EACH TEAM IS ALLOWED FIVE SECONDS TO INBOUND A BASKETBALL
ON DEFENSE
- Defense can play zone or man vs man which ever they choose
- Defense cannot grab, hold or make excessive contact with an offensive player
- If a defender makes contact with shooter on a shot then that will result in two or three (depending on the spot of the foul) free throws
- Defense cannot play press until announced by the referee
ON OFFENSE
- Offensive screens are allowed but they cannot be moving, a moving screen will result in a foul
- Offense has twenty-four seconds to get off a shot and failing to do so will result in a shot clock violation and a turnover
