My name is George Sotiras and I received a single-subject teaching credential in Physical Education from Dominican University of California in 2012.
Prior to that I received a B.A. in Environmental Design from the University of California Berkeley (Go Bears!)
I've had the privilege of working at Hillcrest Middle School since December of 2013 and it has been an honor working in such a wonderful community and getting to work with an amazing faculty who are entirely invested in the betterment of their students.
My personal belief for Physical Education has always been to teach and promote the numerous health benefits of proper nutrition and daily exercise. Also, teaching the values of hard work, cooperation, encouragement and support of your fellow classmates.
Like I always tell my students in class, our motto will be to work hard, try your best and support one another. "We build up, we don't break down". When we strive to do all three then we all succeed, not just in P.E. but in life too.
